What is the urinary system?
The group of organs in the body that manage urine is known as the urinary tract. Included in the urinary tract are:
• The kidneys are two bean-shaped organs that filter blood to produce urine.
• Bladder: The organ that holds urine is shaped like a balloon.
• Two tubes known as ureters transport urine from the kidneys to the bladder.
• The tube that transfers urine from the bladder to the outside of the body is called the urethra.

Visit Ocean Urgent Care if you believe you might have a UTI. Simple urine testing may be performed by the Provider.
Can I get treatment for a UTI at Urgent Care?
Yes! Antibiotics are used to treat most UTIs. The bacteria that cause the infection are eliminated by antibiotics. If you have a bladder infection, you should take antibiotics for three to 10 days.
This treatment is provided by Ocean Urgent Care.
After taking antibiotics for a day, your symptoms should start to get better. You should take all of your antibiotic tablets, otherwise the infection may return. Also, your doctor can prescribe medications to stop the burning.
Is there anything I can purchase to stop the burning, until I can see my doctor?
Azo can be purchased to temporarily stop the burning until you can see your doctor.
